Dr Bettina Wittneben is an award-winning researcher and passionate educator. She investigates institutional change in the international climate policy realm. Her work is published in renowned business journals, such as the Academy of Management Journal, as well as widely read practitioner journals, such as Energy Policy. As special issue editor she provides an outlet for research into environmental issues in management journals. She takes pride in her teaching with the aim of building knowledge, strengthening academic research skills and empowering future leaders to tackle sustainability challenges. Dr Wittneben advises European governments and chairs the Climactio European Steering Committee within the Education pillar of the EU programme Climate-KIC.
Dr Wittneben holds a PhD in Strategic Management from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. She also holds MBA degrees from the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta, Canada, and the Grenoble Ecole de Management, France. Her Bachelor degree in Education (double major Science and Second Language Acquisition) is from the University of Alberta.
