Educate

Dr Wittneben has over ten years of teaching experience. She currently offers courses in Strategic Environmental Management, International Climate Policy, Qualitative Methodology and Academic Skills Development.

Her lectures aim to inform, engage and empower students. She also takes pride in coaching students through their thesis development at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.

Dr Wittneben has been a faculty member at the University of Oxford since 2008. For the first three years at Oxford, she was Research Fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment and the Environmental Change Institute, Senior Research Fellow in Management at Pembroke College, and Affiliated Faculty at the Said Business School. Since 2011, she has continued to conduct research and teaching at these Oxford institutions as Visiting Research Associate and Visiting Lecturer.

Before arriving at Oxford, Dr Wittneben was Assistant Professor for Business & Society at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, the Netherlands. Here, she co-founded the Centre for Corporate Eco-Transformation. She has also worked as senior researcher and project manager at the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy and the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research.
